My first Tote Bag

Third time lucky, after unpicking twice previous - I am quite pleased with this for a first attempt. I love the fabric - an old pair of curtains in a charity shop. Definately shabby chic!

I also ordered a diaper bag pattern of ebay today - watch this space for more bags.

The story so far...

Well I've had a bit of a head start on this blog as I started crafting over the last couple of weeks, mainly inspired by my daughters Thanksgiving Service (in a weeks time) so I ought to complete the story in pictures so far:

These will become cushions as per the Butterick LUV Letters

And then last night, I just couldn't resist the urge to make my first felt booties as per Heather Bailey (see Blog list). I was surprised how quick and easy they were to make - and the comments we received out and about today....keep an eye out for more designs.

Over the coming months I will be making a selection of baby related crafts. I am hoping this blog will become a diary of my work in progress and a resource of projects I aim to complete.

Today I have been on a Charity Shop hunt to replenish my fabric stocks.
